Agents should include this as part of their service. They need to have a camera with a wide-angle lens, or use a trusted real estate photographer.
Why this is a must do:
Potential buyers look at homes with photos! You only have one chance to make a good impression, so use it wisely. I won’t even look at a listing if it doesn’t contain at least a few photos. Would you? We are visual creatures. Give me photos.
Photographs must be taken with a wide-angle lenses. This allows them to take a wider view of the room, making it look larger. Make your buyers fall in love with the property!
It takes no time at all. Even in a medium-sized house like mine, it took less than 30 minutes to complete the entire shoot.
It makes your listing stand out against the competition. Do you want to sell your house faster and for at least your asking price? Of course you do. If you do things well and do it right from the beginning, it will be worth it in the end.
Professionalism. High quality photos will showcase your home in its best light – not only by making it look great, but also by displaying a sense of professionalism and trust. I take a seller and agent much more seriously if their listing looks sharp.
In the next article, we will look at how agents show your home and hold open houses.
